Genocost 2026

The Geno-Cost is an initiative from the Congolese Action Youth Platform (CAYP) for the recognition of the Genocide against the people of D.R Congo. Founded in london in 2013 by congolese activists, This campaign aims to have the 2nd of August recognised as a commemoration day to remember all those we have lost in Congo in our long history of violence.

Chalewote Festival

Day three of the Chale Wote Street Art Festival 2025 opened as another feather in the cap of this year’s programme. The festival’s doors opened even wider to new voices and fresh perspectives. The day welcomed budding filmmakers, musicians, and beauticians into the spotlight, creating an intergenerational dialogue that wove together playfulness with politically and socially grounded themes.
